So I had a dream last night that I was running a marathon and I finished in 3:38:11. I am hoping for a 3:40, but who knows. This will be my first marathon in San Francisco. I have run a few halfs in the city, so I know to expect a hilly course, but we will see how it goes. I know I have become a stronger runner since using the Hansons Marathon Method for my training. I also know I am lacking confidence…still. I am afraid of burning out and not being able to finish. That’s my worst fear during a race, especially a marathon. For this race I’m not going to worry about it and trust my training.
